Dr. David von Hippel is an independent consultant based in Eugene, Oregon. USA. His recent and current work has included several Asian Development Bank projects on climate resilience-building and climate change mitigation. Much of his work has also centered on and environmental issues in Asia, and in particular Northeast Asia, at the regional and national level. Dr. von Hippel holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Energy and Resources from the University of California-Berkeley, and M.A. and B.S. degrees from the University Of Oregon.
