Jane is the Lead in Government Transformation for the Asia Pacific and Japan region in Amazon Web Services. She has built a career in citizen driven and technology-enabled government transformation spanning state and federal governments in Australia, and international digital development in many countries throughout the world. Her early roles in public health and then public sector reform led to executive roles where she led large scale whole-of-government and individual agency modernisation programs.
Jane’s first CIO role was to shape the digital service capability in Centrelink, Australia’s one-stop-shop serving 9m customers. Later roles as the Victorian State Government CIO, international consultant in transformation and digital leadership; and CEO of DesignGov, a national multi-sector collaboration platform for wicked problem-solving followed. In 2015 Jane joined the World Bank to run its digital development practice providing technical assistance, lending and accelerating digital leadership in governments in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
