Jonathan Marskell is a Senior Program Officer based in Singapore with the Identification for Development (ID4D) initiative. He is responsible for supporting digital ID and civil registration financing and technical assistance projects in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, and East Africa, as well as contributing to ID4D’s global thought leadership, convening and advocacy. Before joining ID4D in 2016, he was a consultant on identification, civil registration and vital statistics in the Asia-Pacific region for UNESCAP, UNICEF, UNHCR and IOM, including for five years in Bangkok. He is Australian and holds a Master of Arts in International Political Economy from King’s College London and Bachelor of International Business from Macquarie University in Sydney.
