Nikolasi Fonua is an electrical and electronics engineer and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business. He has worked for 10 years with the Electricity Utility in Tonga where he is acting CEO and prior to that, he headed the utility's Engineering Division. He has expertise in project management and strategic business development, with a strong business and engineering acumen. His passion is in developing the energy industry to be more sustainable, complemeted by appropriately skilled talents within the industry. His goal is to see and realize the difference that a sustainable energy industry can make in people's lives.
