Huw is a highly qualified water sector adviser with a track record of excellence delivering outcomes in public policy and strategy. He manages Aither’s growing global team, with advisers based in US, UK and France.
Since joining Aither in 2016, he has managed some of Aither’s largest and most complex projects, written significant public reports, and led Aither’s expansion into new markets. He managed Aither’s contributions to Australia’s work under the High Level Panel on Water - was the lead author on two of Aither’s papers: 'Valuing Water' and 'WaterGuide: Setting a path to improved water resource management and use under scarcity'. He has been invited to present this work at major international water fora.
He has written and presented on aspects of Australia’s water management experience, establishment and operation of water markets and water recovery mechanisms. He worked for the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, and in not-for-profit and university sectors. He completed his postgraduate studies at University of Oxford on a General Sir John Monash Scholarship. He received numerous academic accolades. His work on water resource management policy has been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
