A passionate environmentalist with an interest in nature-based solutions, Belinda has worked in the not-for-profit sphere for over 20 years, serving as Head of Impact for Nekton Foundation, CFO for Earthwatch Europe and CFO for the Global Canopy Programme. She is a chartered accountant and avid researcher with an adaptable skillset including partnership, systems and programme development.

Belinda is the interim COO at Ethex and will be acting as Westmill Solar’s interim company secretary whilst Sarah Flood is on maternity leave.

Belinda is a chartered accountant with an adaptable skillset including partnership and programme development. Following her accountancy training with KPMG in London, for several years she worked for global investment banks in dealer support, financial control and treasury management roles.

She went on to develop extensive experience in the not-for-profit sphere with several innovative environmental organisations, serving as CFO for Earthwatch Europe and the Global Canopy Programme and as Head of Finance and Impact for Nekton Foundation. Having served as a trustee of the Global Canopy Programme in its formative years Belinda is well acquainted with UK charity governance matters.

A passionate environmentalist with an interest in nature-based solutions, Belinda is also an Associate at NLA International, convener of blue economy solutions with a technology focus.
