Oyunchimeg Erdene is Principal Transport Specialist in ADB’s Transport and Communications Division, Central and West Asia Department. A Mongolian national, she has 37 years experience in planning, processing, and implementing highway projects; working with various international organizations; and overseeing transport and country portfolios in ADB. Before joining ADB, she worked in various government agencies managing a transport sector as Head of Planning and Project Manager for highway projects. She also served as a First Delegate for the Permanent International Association of Road Congresses (PIARC) Council representing the Ministry of Transport of Mongolia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Highway Engineering and a master’s degree in management science.
