Bernard Woods

Bernard Woods is the Principal Director of the Department of Communications (DOC), responsible for leading the external relations and communication strategies of ADB with stakeholders including donors and developing member countries.

He is concurrently the Director of the Results Management and Aid Effectiveness Division of SPD, responsible for results management, corporate performance measurement, and leading ADB’s response to the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, Mr. Woods worked in ADB’s East Asia Regional Department, as a partner in a Canadian consulting firm, and for the Aga Khan Foundation. Mr. Woods holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (Development) from Carleton University in Canada.
