Profile / Bio

Woonghwan An is a director of the University Affairs and Policy Division, which has played a significant role to build the human and technical infrastructure and improve the education system for online learning for higher education institutions. He has served as a Deputy Director and Director in the Ministry of Education Republic of Korea since 2003. He worked in the field of higher education policy, STEM Education in K-12 education, and Education Policy Analysis and Evaluation. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa in the United States with a major in Educational Policy.
