Jayash Paudel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Boise State University. His research has appeared in journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Social Science & Medicine, Land Economics, Energy Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics and World Development. Jayash is a fellow at the Global Labor Organization. He is also affiliated with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences and the Center for Advanced Energy Studies. He previously worked for the World Bank Group and Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). He received a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
