Frank van Cappelle

Frank van Cappelle is a regional Education Specialist at UNICEF’s South Asia office. He has been working in the education sector for 15 years (prior to South Asia, in Eastern and Southern Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and East Asia and Pacific), covering areas such as assessment, out-of-school children research and monitoring, distance learning during COVID-19 and “reimagine education”.

He co-chairs with ITU the Asia Pacific Interagency Working Group on Digital Transformation in Learning and Education. He also manages the All Children Learning – Assessment Platform. He has a Ph.D. in education assessment.
