Mr. Ali Jamil was born in Siabu, August 30, 1965. He has completed his Bachelor's and Master in Agriculture in North Sumatra and also has completed his Doctoral in Soil Science/Plant Physiology from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos (UPLB), the Philippines in 2006.
He has had a career at the Ministry of Agriculture since 2005 and currently serves as Director-General of Agricultural Infrastructure and Facilities. He has been the Person in Charge and Chairman of the Grand Design Preparation Team in collaboration with the Riau Regional Government and involved in related fields research in collaboration with the North Sumatra Agricultural Technology Research Center (BPTP). He is also active as an extraordinary supervisor at several faculties in North Sumatra and is the Editorial Team at the Agricultural Research Journal, Faculty of Agriculture, Asahan University, North Sumatra until now.
