Marito Garcia is a Fellow of Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in USA. He used to Sector Manager for Education for Latin America and the Caribbean at the World Bank, and now work for ADB as a consultant. He was instrumental to prepare quick online surveys for understanding online education and training in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka soon after COVID-19, and ADB brief has been published or prepared working with Sungsup and Ryotaro at SAHS. Today, his presentation will highlight lessons learned for countries envisioning education delivery using technology with detailed examples of how enabling regulations and policies are crafted and implemented—with implications for a new 21st century model of tertiary education in the post-pandemic world
