Rein Van der Hoek

Rein van der Hoek has 10 years of research and management experience in the CGIAR in Central America and the Caribbean, after having worked in research for development and farming systems research projects in Burkina Faso and Zambia. His research portfolio includes multi-purpose forage options aimed at improving animal production, natural resources management, ecosystem services schemes, and climate change mitigation and adaptation in mixed crop-livestock-tree systems. His ctivities have focused on the interface between research, development, private and public sector actors.
