Sergey Vasilyevich Poleshchuk was born in 1969 in Shakhtinsk. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics (Thermal Physics Engineer, 1992) and the Themis Law Academy (Lawyer, 2002). He started his working career in 1992 at Ak Tolkyn JSC as a deputy chief power engineer. Since 1996 - General Director of "Ergonomics" Ltd. He was Deputy of the city Akimat of Shakhtinsk (2004-2008), Advisor to the Akim of Karaganda region on Energy Efficiency (2010-2011), Deputy of Karaganda region Maslikhat. (2011-2015), member of regional council of NCE Atameken (2019).
