Dr. Wei-Shiuen Ng is Advisor on Sustainable Transport and Global Outreach in the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). She has a background in environmental science, transportation engineering and urban planning, and leads the development of transportation and climate change policy dialogue, gender research, and activities in Asia at the ITF. Her expertise includes transportation emissions and energy modeling, transportation policy scenarios building, behavioral modeling (discrete choice analysis), sustainable transportation development in Asia, as well as building institutional relations, partnerships and global policy dialogue.

Wei-Shiuen is also an Adjunct Professor at the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), a member of the Scientific Committee of the World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS) and co-chairs the Special Interest Group on Transport and Climate Change. She currently serves on the United States Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies Committee on Transportation in the Developing Countries and Committee on Transportation Demand Management. Wei-Shiuen is a Research Affiliate at Stanford University, an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Oxford and a guest editor of "Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment". She holds a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, a Masters in Environmental Science from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from the University of York.
