Having a clear distinction between monitoring and evaluation is an important component of a community road safety program. It is equally essential to employ both summative and informative evaluation methods and identify the information sources relevant to program monitoring. This module explains the rationale for undertaking evaluations and provides guidance for establishing practical evaluation.
