Learn about road safety management, why it is essential, what it entails, and the need for a clear underpinning vision to guide management intent and action.

A business-as-usual approach will not succeed in achieving road safety management and public sector reform. It is important to build awareness that road safety is a product which can be managed. There is also a need to develop and adopt a clear shared position on a long term ambitious road safety goal. Reviewing the ability of a country to manage road safety and focusing on the factors that will increase its ability to deliver road safety outcomes are essential.
