National Upskilling through Education Technology: Global Findings from Case Studies

Rapid advancements in technology necessitate continuous reskilling and upskilling of the workforce. Ms. Ayah Shashaa, Global Director of Business Development & Partnerships at Udacity for Government presented the findings from case studies in multiple countries on developing and operationalizing at scale solutions for governments to support national upskilling in key areas of digital literacy, gig economy, etc. Ms. Shashaa discussed the challenges commonly faced by government entities with regards to national upskilling for employment and the required capabilities to implement job-ready upskilling programs through education technology.
