Isabel’s interests are in increasing equity and working with the Government to develop at-scale poor-inclusive urban sanitation services. She has recently worked on assignments in Asia with World Bank, ADB, BMGF, WaterAid, GIZ, and others. From 2005-2016 she worked for the World Bank’s Water and Sanitation Programme developing pro-poor urban sanitation in Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Pacific Island countries, and South Asia. Previously, she worked in Southern Africa and East Africa for UNICEF, DFID, KfW, DANIDA, consulting firms, and NGOs. She has a Master's degree from the Water, Engineering, and Development Centre (WEDC), Loughborough University.
