International Financial Institutions Transport Sector Virtual Business Opportunities Seminar in South Asia (IFI BOS)

The IFI BOS focused on transport-related procurement opportunities with the Asian Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and World Bank in three South Asian markets (India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan). The presentation by the IFIs included: 1) Transport sector priorities in South Asia; 2) Sector trends, expertise, and technologies of interest to IFIs; 3) Procurement guidelines and processes; 4) Pipeline of transport projects, and 5) Potential opportunities for Canadian companies. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion and moderated Q&A session to facilitate active engagement among participants.

For the BOS, ADB partnered with The Trade Commissioner Service of Embassy of Canada, Manila. The discussions focused on ongoing and upcoming business opportunities, particularly in the transport sector.
