Swayamsiddha Mohanty is the Public Procurement Professional with more than 20 years of experience in various industries and sectors namely oil and gas, IT, manufacturing industries, FMCG, health, education, micro-finance, urban, transport, energy, MSME and Governance. She is currently working as Senior Procurement Specialist, Governance Global Practice, World Bank.
Prior to World Bank, she worked with IBM, Infosys Technologies and GAIL (India) Ltd. She started her career with GAIL (India) Limited- the leading Natural Gas public sector undertaking of India, where her main responsibilities were managing the inventory & logistics; Project procurement & contract -management for GAILTEL; LPG & LNG pipeline projects; Natural Gas Pipeline Projects and SAP implementation for Project procurement & Pata petrochemical plant as a power user.
Thereafter, worked with Infosys Technologies and then with IBM Business Consulting Services on SAP Projects; Business Process re-engineering & knowledge transfer in SAP. During this period, led SAP implementation projects for JK Tyres, Pepsico & Diamler Chrysler, (UK and Germany)
