Janet Arlene Amponin is an Associate Climate Change Officer of the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Division (SDCD) of ADB. Arlene engages in SDCD’s work on implementation of the Climate Change Operational Framework, particularly the implementation of NDC Advance, ADB’s technical assistance platform supporting the implementation of the nationally determined contributions of ADB DMCs. She also supports the work on alignment of ADB operations with the Paris Agreement, Just Transition, and management of various climate trust funds; and serves as SDCD’s knowledge management focal.
