Professor Kyung-Joon Lee is Professor Emeritus of the University of Plant Clinic College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the Seoul National University.
Professor Lee is currently serving as Vice President of the Korea Poplar Commission. He has also served as Vice President of the Korean Association for Nature Conservation (2004-2006) and as President of the Korean Association of Tree Clinics (2003 -2008) during his tenure as Director of the Plant Clinic at Seoul National University. He has also worked as a Consultant to Cooperative Research between Korea Forest Society and Mongolia National University on the "Korea-Mongolia Greenbelt Project" (2009) and has also consulted as team leader on ADB's "Saving the Tsunami-Affected Trees of Maldives" (2005 -2006)
Professor Lee has a PhD in Tree Physiology from University of Florida, a Master's Degree in Tree Physiology from University of Wisconsin - Madison, and a Bachelor's Degree in forestry from Seoul National University.
