Associated Program Director, Clean Air Asia Profile / Bio Dang Espita-Casanova is an Associated Program Director for Clean Air Asia. She oversees program development and strategic planning for Clean Air Asia's impact initiatives on transport, cities, energy, and air quality and climate change science. She worked with government, private, and non-profit organization in the early years of her professional career, with more environmental management. Her career with Clean Air Asia started in 2014 when she led a team of international and regional experts in the development of the Guidance Framework for Better Air Quality in Asian Cities (Guidance Framework). The Guidance Framework is the core knowledge product of the Integrated Programme for Better Air Quality in Asia (IBAQ Programme), one of Clean Air Asia's key projects. She currently leads programs focusing on capacity building for air quality management and climate change mitigation. These are achieved by providing policy guidance and direct technical assistance to governments on the development and implementation of clean air and climate action plans and sectoral measures. Dang holds a Master's Degree in development Management from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor's Degree and Master's units in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines.
