Regional Development Coordinator, Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, UN Environment Programme Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Jonathan Gilman has worked with the United Nations for 19 years. His assignments include working with the UN at the global level in UNDP’s Bureau for Development Policy; at the regional level as Regional Development Coordinator with the UN Environment Programme (current position) and prior to that as Regional Economist with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. At the country level, Jonathan worked with the UN peacekeeping mission in East Timor (United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor) as an Environmental Affairs Officer and in UNDP’s Indonesia Country Office. Jonathan graduated from University College London with an MSc in Environmental Economics.
