Profile / Bio: 

Srinivasan is a Principal Climate Change Specialist and Climate Change Focal Point for ADB’s Southeast Asia Department more than 25 years of experience in the field. He chairs the ADB Climate Smart Agriculture Working Group and serves as ADB focal for the Forest Investment Program, ADB focal for stakeholder engagement in climate investment funds and as ADB’s alternate focal for Pilot Program for Climate Resilience.  

He previously worked at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies, Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences, and ICRISAT. Dr. Ancha has contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Global Environmental Outlook, Millennium Ecosystems Assessment, and the System for Analysis, Research and Training as an author and/or reviewer. He has edited eight books including “Handbook of Precision Agriculture” and “Climate Smart Development in Asia” and authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications.
