Aleandre is currently the Regional Program Manager for Microsoft Philanthropies, covering 18 markets in Asia. She has been with Microsoft for the past 3 years managing the Digital Skills program, a global initiative to increase access for all youth to learn computer science, empowering them to achieve more for themselves, their families, and their communities. Since it was launched four years ago, the program has created education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for more than 33 million youth in Asia. Prior to Microsoft, she was deeply involved in the management of projects that contribute to Philippine development, focusing on gender, capacity building, and agrarian reform. She has worked with various non-government and non-profit organizations and aid agencies such as USAID, KfW, and GIZ.
