In the context of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit that took place in Mexico in October 2015, the Asia Pacific Regional OGP meeting took place in Manila a month before on 7-8 September 2015.

This report summarizes the meeting that was sponsored by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and attended by participants from government and civil society organizations from 13 countries. The meeting’s objectives were to: (i) share progress on reforms in OGP member countries, including challenges and solutions for improving results to ensure that citizens benefit; (ii) exchange views on how to broaden and deepen the OGP Initiative in the region; (iii) present and obtain feedback on ADB’s draft Action Plan for OGP engagement; and (iv) assist member countries to maximize benefits of the Global OGP Summit.
