07 September 2015 to 08 September 2015
Manila
Philippines

ADB joined Open Government Partnership (OGP) in July 2014 with the ambition to support open government reforms throughout Asia and the Pacific. In preparation for the Global OGP Summit scheduled to take place in Mexico on 27-29 October 2015, ADB and the OGP organized this meeting in Manila, Philippines. Around 50 delegates representing governments, civil society organizations, as well as the international community, attended the meeting.

The main objectives of the meeting were to share progress on open government reforms in member countries; exchange views and suggestions on how to expand the OGP Initiative in the region; present and obtain feedback on ADB’s draft Action Plan pertaining to its OGP engagement; and to assist member countries to maximize their outcome from the Global OGP Summit in Mexico.
