Tisura Gamage

Tisura Gamage is a researcher at the Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS). He holds an MA in Energy, Resources and Environment from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Tisura previously worked with the Edison Electric Institute in Washington D.C. in supporting the transport electrification (TE) efforts of U.S. Investor-Owned Electric Companies. There he followed public utilities commission proceedings and legislation to understand trends, outcomes and best practices from ongoing electric utility TE programs and to better define the role of electric companies in supporting TE. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
