Julien Mélot

Julien Mélot has always treasured nature and water, spending his childhood summers on self-made rafts and sailing boats. Julien holds a masters in electro-mechanical engineering and in naval architecture. He has been living and working in Europe, South America and Asia building large ships while continuously researching and developing the application of renewable energies to marine transportation and boating. After 4 years of R&D and a pioneering hydrogen/solar catamaran project, he founded Azura Marine in Singapore in 2012 to spread this technology globally. Julien speaks fluently 6 languages, is also a certified Yoga instructor, a yacht captain, and a diver.
