Takejiro Sueyoshi is Special Advisor to UNEP FI and PRI in the Asia Pacific region, and established the Green Finance Organisation Japan in 2013. During his years with Nikko Asset Management as Deputy President, he was appointed as a member of the UNEP FI Steering Committee. In addition to his involvement in UNEP FI activities, he has delivered numerous speeches on environmental issues and CSR/SRI in various government councils, seminars, universities, and television programs. He is advisor to mayors of local governments and outside director of corporations in Japan. He is a Trustee member of Carbon Disclosure Project and was a member of the Council for Japan’s Prime Minister on Climate Change Policy. His publications include “OndankaKogi (A lecture on Global Warming)” (Toyo Keizai), “YugaiRensa (Chain of Harmfulness)” (Gentousha), “Green New Deal” (Editor, KankyouShinbun), and “Saishin CSR Jijyo (The Newest Book on CSR)” (Hokuseido).
