Knowledge Partnership Dialogue: Center of Excellence for Clean Energy
Indonesia's ambitious economic growth aspirations are dependent, among other things, on its ability to expand access to reliable and clean sources of energy, for all its citizens. The Center of Excellence on Clean Energy, to be established by Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is envisioned to help push this agenda forward.
This learning event explored common goals with development partners and public and private entities, and scoped collaborative opportunities in the deployment of clean energy. The focus of the discussions concerned the Indonesian Government’s Center of Excellence, its proposed operations and facilities, and its role in supporting the needs of the energy sector for investment in, and implementation of, clean-energy initiatives.
