Recognizing the chaos that accompanies disaster response along with an existing surplus of maps in the Philippines, OpenStreetMap aims to offer a cross-sector platform where data can be shared openly with all communities and across local sectors. The initiative extends beyond crisis and disaster to community resiliency mapping.
