While sustainable solutions are complex with specific requirements, efficient wastewater solutions integrate water, waste, and energy as much as possible. A "one solution fits all" approach will not apply, since different technologies from different vendors fit to different situations. Consistency, interoperability, and interchangeability however must be ensured at all times.
