This presentation discusses the mandate and role of the National Housing Authority (NHA) in the Philippines. The priority programs of the agency, particularly for informal settler families residing in danger areas in Metro Manila, are highlighted. The multi-sectoral community development approach as applied by NHA is, likewise, presented.
