This flyer provides an overview of innovative financial instruments that can help advance nature-positive investments. Catalyzing nature financing is the overarching objective of the Nature Solutions Finance Hub (NSFH), an Asian Development Bank (ADB)-led platform that brings together multiple financial and technical partners to close the nature-based solutions (NbS) financing gap by combining project origination, innovative finance, and capacity building into one coordinated effort. 

Financial instruments are tools used by governments, investors, and financial institutions to moblize, structure, and direct funding toward specific investments, including nature and climate solutions. 

The flyer features examples of such instruments and the rationale for applying the specific type of instrument. By showcasing these examples, other developing countries in Asia and the Pacific can identify potential opportunities for scaling and replication.
