Build to Last—Shaping MSMEs’ Growth in the Digital Age

17 March 2022

With micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Southeast Asia contributing about 40% on average to each country's gross domestic product, governments need to ensure small businesses have access to credit and the capacity to deploy technology and take advantage of digital solutions and services, said experts at the third Southeast Asia Development Symposium (SEADS). In the session, Build to Last—Shaping MSMEs’ Growth in the Digital Age, speakers examined the constraints hindering MSMEs to survive and thrive and highlighted case studies and recommendations to ensure their long-term growth. The session was organized by the Tech for Good Institute, a think tank set up by Grab.
