Investing in Women, an initiative of the Australian Government, and Business Coalitions (BCs) in South East Asia have been working to advance gender equality in the workplace by creating an enabling environment to increase women’s labour force participation and business leadership.

In this session, the WGE initiatives of four companies from Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam will be presented as case studies. As frontline WGE practitioners, business leaders and technical experts from the local business coalitions will lead the conversation on what are the drivers of WGE, outlining strategies and support tailored for use within the local context. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the business leaders and WGE experts.
