The session will share UNICEF’s programme portfolio for girl-centered, generational impact in skills, digital literacy, and innovation with transformative potential to break negative gender stereotypes and address the gender digital divide. Specific country examples from Central Asia, South Asia, and East Asia and Pacific will be shared. The session will engage in an interactive format with girls from STEM programmes and their female mentors and hear insights from UNICEF’s key private sector partners on the shared value, role, and importance of private sector engagement in advancing girls’ skills, STEM, digital enhancement and empowerment as key to strengthening education for employability pathways.
