In accordance with the provision of Republic Act 10742 (otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015) in the Philippines, winners in the youth council (Sangguniang Kabataan) elections are required to undertake a mandatory training that will serve as preparation in the execution of their responsibilities. The University of the Philippines-National College of Public Administration and Governance is one of the institutions that assists in the design and implementation of the training program.
