Artificial recharge can increase groundwater levels and help restore ecological conditions. It can be a secure water supply resource for urban areas. It can help solve drinking water shortage problems. This presentation shares lessons from a pilot articifical recharge project in the People's Republic of China and recommends ways on how to upscale and apply it in Asia.
