ADB complies with internationally recognized core labor standards in loan design and formulation as part of its social protection strategy. Projects or activities that involve harmful or exploitative forms of forced labor or child labor do not qualify for ADB financing. This presentation features ADB’s Patrind Hydropower Project as a case example.
