ADB applies the “Livable Cities” approach to urban development. It supports the transformation of developing cities in Asia and the Pacific into sustainable urban centers. In rolling out projects on urban development, ADB aims to help its developing members countries build urban infrastructure that could withstand climate change and disaster shocks.
