As a model water organization, the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) is at the forefront of research and development in the water sector in the Asia and Pacific region.

With the K-water Convergence Institute, K-water offers knowledge solutions that may be adopted by other countries in the region to address their water challenges. The K-water Convergence Institute provides research and development support in policy, infrastructure, and technology, among other areas of interest. The Institute's six research centers focus on water policy, infrastructure, water resources management, water supply, hydropower, and water quality.
