Successfuly meeting the SDGs is not an easy feat, especially since some of these goals have far-reaching social protection agenda. ADB developing member countries (DMCs) must be able to identify cost and resource requirements required to meet these goals. This presentation shares a modelling methodology that provides cost or resource requirement estimates for 16 countries for the period 2015 to 2030. These countries include Azerbaijan, Cambodia, the Peoples’ Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam, which comprise about 86% of the total population of ADB's DMCs.
