Medicine e-Procurement in Indonesia

Can Indonesia's e-procurement system assure an adequate supply of medicine and other healthcare needs? Will the system improve the delivery of vital public health services?

ADB Health Specialist Sean Donato presented on the implementation of Indonesia's e-procurement systems for medicines and other health commodities in the public sector. Sean has led health commodity procurement, warehousing, and supply chain strategy development projects at the Clinton Health Access Initiative and USAID's supply chain management system project. The lecture was part of the weekly "Health Talks" series organized by ADB's in-house Health Sector Group.
