This presentation discusses the drivers for growth, including challenges and barriers to the development of electric vehicles (EV) in India. The Government of India’s “Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME)” scheme, as part of National Electric Mobility Plan 2020, is explained. EV case studies from India are shared.
