Recognizing the strategic leadership role of road policing and traffic law enforcement integrates good practice into a road safety framework and achieves the road trauma reduction targets set by the United Nations Decade of Action. There is a need to address the foundation of effective data management and the importance of sharing data to achieve road safety outcomes.
